Delete Your Edukado Account

You can delete your Edukado account at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your data.

Option 1: Delete in the app

The fastest way is to delete your account from inside the app:

1. Open the Edukado app (mobile or tablet) or go to edukado.ai and sign in.
2. Tap your profile icon to open the Profile screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

Your account and all associated data will be removed immediately.

Option 2: Request by email

If you can't sign in (for example, you've forgotten your password), email us from the address associated with your Edukado account:

Please include the email address on your Edukado account. We will verify the request and confirm deletion within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile (name, email, password hash, grade, state)
• ESA billing information you've provided (parent phone number, state, ESA program name, scholarship ID)
• Your practice and test history, answers, and chat transcripts
• Test reports and study plans generated for you
• Subscription metadata linked to your account
• Feedback you've submitted in the app
• Any Google or Apple sign-in identifiers linked to your account

What may be retained

For legal, tax, and security reasons, a limited amount of information is kept after deletion:

• Payment records: Invoices and transaction history are retained by our payment processor or app store provider for up to 7 years as required by U.S. tax and accounting law.
• Encrypted backups: Your data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
• Aggregated analytics: Anonymized, non-identifying usage statistics (e.g., total questions answered) may be retained indefinitely. These cannot be linked back to you.

Everything else is removed from our production systems immediately upon deletion.

Canceling your subscription

Deleting your account also cancels any active subscription. If you only want to cancel your subscription without deleting your account, you can do so from the subscription management option in the Profile screen.
